Where are all the camping gadget threads gone?

I am a lurker mostly to this board, but have always enjoyed those threads which posters can proudly tell us of their genius new camping finds, or even stuff they lust after for their camping trips. They give me lots of ideas, so come on Happy Campers - what have you bought?!

Hate my Cobb, want a Cadac but can't justify it so am going to buy a second-hand double burner like this one unless anyone has any other (cheapish) suggestions?

(Don't get me started on the stupid Cobb, takes forever to cook anything and my children don't understand slow pace of camping life, gah and I managed to chuck the fire basket thing away last weekend and I refuse to buy a new one when I still hate the damn Cobb )

Bought a new trailer (twice the size!! need wider gates now...)

Also NonnyMuss That's the burner we have and it's fab. It's lasted for years!

I have had to revive this thread to draw your attention to this perfect gadget on which to rest your plate of cocktail sausages Table

I fear so.

I am married to a very sensible, serious, professional man. I fear that a few beers down even he, if he knew what it was called, could not resist the call to extreme male silliness of doing something inappropriate with/on that table.

With him it would be more bratwurst resting though.

I have to say that. He found me on a mn thread the other day while googling De Waard Albatroses. I had made some unfortunate comment on the thread about having to turn off the computer to go and talk to him. He might find this if he ever decides to google camping gadgets. I love you darling

Blu ??.
Well worth the thread revival if I may say so. I think said item needs to on the essential MN camping list.

Am I going to be the only poster who admits to google imaging the De Waard Albetros, thinking it was some well-endowed big bird?!

ok ok I am clearly still a camping newbie

Blu I blame you for putting odd ideas into my head ??

Oh, go on, Slubber - buy him one.

You know you were hankering after a new gadget earlier this year.

And don't forget to come back and post the pictures.
