I can't do links either and I've been here for 2 years.

thanks for drawing attention to the article though. Well worth a look.

Has anyone else seen the book 'Cool campsites' or something? (Cool camping, it could be called, but its not the laura james one featured in the Sunday times) If I could do links I could link to it on Amazon... anyway it's a really good book. Only covers England, but books covering Wales and Scotland are apparently in the offing.

Feeling rough just now so forgive inarticulate post.

It's called Cool Camping: England and it's by Jonathan Knight.

hopefully this will work for you

Not tried any myself either. Have heard of that Sussex one before. What a treat to be able to have a fire going.

My favourite is near St Agnes, Cornwall, very poor facilities but awesome cliff-top location with sunset views second to none.

oh the shame.

Have just followed LMMs link and discovered the book and the article are one and the same... and then return to find you very kindly and gently demonstrating the same thing.

Sorry. Am not quite the ticket today.

but it is a good book. Got back from the one at Robin hood's bay earlier in the week.

\link{http://www.woodfarm.co.uk/ \ Wood farm, Charmouth } This si the joint best we have visited- along with this one in Cheddar, Somerset and indeed Hollands Wood in teh New Forest

If you're not going to use the kids club (a bit dingy) but looking for the most scenic relaxed place you can imagine to camp, this palce is right on the coast at St Helend ont he IoW- for location you cannot beat it.

oops bad link Wood farm Charmouth is a really pretty palce in Dorset, ever so quiet but near Lyme Regis and Seaton / Brixham too.
