I spend all a lot of my time here on the camping boards - lurking around.

I felt compelled to tell you that I have just spent the last hour at work typing up and laminating my comprehensive camping checklist. oh yes - I am now laminated.

I long for the day my camping list is comprehensive enough for me to dare to laminate it, it's a masterpiece but still a work in progress Grin

It gets printed off fresh before each trip hang the expense of printer ink and paper and tweaked on our return, at the same time as I update the camping spreadsheet with a record of where we've been/how long/pros & cons of the site.

Camping geekery rules!

Grin @ dinosaur suit and fancy dress as essential camping kit.

Binoculars are a good idea Wink

It's not a proper MN camping checklist without the WINEWineSmileSmile

Old school Wink
I DO have have laminated checklist... (Which is the mother of checklists )... But I also have a saddo camping list app which I am working on transferring my lists onto.

Wine does not need to be on the list, as IF I would ever forget it?

I can't laminate my list as every trip I add something useless useful to it Grin

YY OP Grin got a camping checklist here in excel format which spans 3 columns, A4 size!
Great to print off each trip, then just cross out each item that isn't needed before packing commences, dependent on trip... Although this is a matter of personal opinion of course.
(Recent 7 day backpack hike, OH deemed full pack of baby wipes and one deodorant unnecessary but camping chairs simply HAD TO BE carried - WTAF?! Apparently 20 baby wipes, extracted from pack and placed in freezer bag, were more than sufficient - as for deodorant, we would be outside so wouldn't be smelled!! But it was life-dependent that we had comfy chairs to sit in... Confused)

Ahem.

I have an excel spreadsheet that has several pages. camping kit (basically equipment stuff), kitchen box, luggable loo and contents, washing up bucket, cooking options (with 3 separate bits - camping stove, Cobb and campfire depending on the type of camp), first aid box and Camping repair box.

I do it like this as each bit is ready packed so as long as I make sure they are all topped up I just grab and go apart from clothes and food.

Do I win camping geek top trumps?

Will post in the next few days once I have it done properly

Omg...I have a non-laminated list and now feel a failure!

I might have missed them from your list, but I always take a few (laundry) pegs to peg towels onto the guy ropes on the rare occasion it's dry! I also take one of those stretchy travel washing lines which I use inside the tent if it's wet outside.

Food-wise, I meal-plan before we go and take small bottles/jars of tomato ketchup, marmite and olive oil and little foil-wrapped pouches of any dried herbs and spices, that I'll need.

That's a great list. I love making lists but I've never used a laminator.
Have always secretly wanted one.
This will be our first year camping. V excited :)
