We're going to stay at the above campsite (with Canvas holidays) in the first week of September and just wondered whether anyone else had stayed there?

If so, any comments on what it's like? Suggestions on things to do/visit? Or not worth doing? Stuff to take?

We're going with 20 month old DD, if that helps. Looking forward to lots of time playing on the beach, but other suggestions and feedback would be great.

MrsMc82 We're getting Eurostar to Avignon (they run a direct service from London St. Pancras to Avignon for about 8 weeks over summer - no changes), then picking up a hire car and driving the last 70(?) miles.

If no-one else gives any feedback on the campsite, I'll give you feedback when we get back in September.

Ha! I did, but 20 years ago as a kid. It was the best holiday we had! It was awesome!

However, I will get its changed loads since I was a girl!

We aren't getting a holiday this year, so I am well jel! Have a brilliant time!

MrsMc82 we've just come back from a week at Les Mediterranees (first week in Sept) - Beach Garden (nb. Les Mediterrranees also have a camp site called Beach Club 5 minutes walk away from the Beach Garden).

The site was half empty (which imho is a good thing). Canvas mobile homes and tents are at the back half of the site - it's obviously the more recent part of the campsite as the trees are a lot less established, so not much natural shade (didn't view this as a negative we were out all day every day). Beach is 5 mins walk through the campsite - beach is sandy and very gently sloping (was ideal for our toddler).

Think the whole area might be a bit noisy in high season - there are lots of campsites next to one another and I think lots of them have "entertainment" in high season.

From a noticeboard near the pool, it looks like they are re-building the whole pool complex for next year.

The site worked really well for us.

Hope that's of some help.
