Lightweight backpack folding chair

Not for camping for cycling to beach and then sitting in comfort! Thought you campers might know where I can get a couple from. Many years ago I had a folding chair with an inflatable cushion on a lightweight frame which folded up and carried on back with padded straps. Long since defunct but want to replace with similar so I can carry it on my bike when cycling to our local beach. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. Have also posted on chat as it seems to get a lot of traffic

Can't do links on phone but look for TheSeasideCompany and look for their y-ply chair, and they also have a thing with an inflatable wedge.

I have also seen seats which unfold and have straps to stop the back tipping back flat, but I can't work out what to google to find them.

Last year Slubber was all for buying some super-portable chairs which only had two legs and cost £75 each or something, but we talked her out of it on the grounds that she would tip backwards and spill her gin.

Try Ergolife Stol chair.

Or wax it more of a conventional folding chair on legs you were after?

The alite monarch is the one slubber was thinking of, now joined by a four legged version, the alite mantis, and a convertible 2 legged version with extra stability bar. They are inordinately expensive though. The Australian version, the Helinox Chair one is similar, and also similarly priced. If you have friends in the states who can ship something for you, rei.com do similar called the flex lite I think. Definitely think we would have more space in the roof box with one of these solutions, but no money to spend on holiday!

I've just discovered the Rei comfort low chair - looks fab, but would need shipping over.
