Sorry to offend all you hardened campers but ..... Glamping?

DS2 wants to camp - eek!

So to soften it a bit for me I thought somewhere with a ready tent/yurt etc might be a good midway point.

But nothing too "Boden and Bunting" - I was a girl guide in my day and have my camping badge so don't mind a bit of roughing it!!!

Thinking of Devon, Somerset, Dorset, Hampshire way.

Any suggestions please?

Whatever makes you happy. Glamping is a good start and you may even find that you love it so much that you want your own kit. Then the shopping fun begins and is never ending!

Welsummer campsite in Kent is lovely and has a few ready-tents - some in the woods, some on the field.

We stayed at the Orchard Retreat. Only 3 yurts in the middle of an apple orchard. Pizza oven to hire for your family, great location, local farm shop for strawberry picking. Seriously recommend.
