Anyone else spotted any autumn camping bargains?

We bought one of these last week. We've had it up in the garden for a week and it's not leaked at all. It's a pretty basic tent but fine for 2 adults and 3 small dc on sleeping mats (there is no way you would fit 5 airbeds in). The sleeeping area is 295cm wide.

I'm waiting for the Quechua pop up gazebo thing to come down from £249. Then I will have one. They will fall to £99.. they will ... they will.... [wishful thinking probably, but apparently the smaller one was reduced to £40 a year or so ago!]

I'm waiting excitedly for mine to arrive tomorrow ( going away in it next weekend).
A Kampa frinton 4 classic ( polycotton ) + carpet + canopy for £458 and free p&p .
A bargain and I can't wait :-)

Dh and I are off this week in my yes-I-can justify-this-as-it's-reduced-bargain Wild Country Aspect 3.
This is the first trial of camping by train. So far so good, have got tent, two thermarests and two sleeping bags all in one medium wheely bag. Am quietly hopeful that all will be well.

Oh and I got more money off the price as I have a Cotswold Outdoor loyalty card. Worth getting imo if you are a outdoorsy technical stuff addict.

And I won £100 in the PTA 100 club draw so the tent is practically free

Will you be getting one of these for your by-train trips, Slubber?

Ha! No. No coolbox. No chairs. No table. No lamps. Even the deltapegs are out.

Minimalism all the way.

Yy went this weekend Trouty. She worked a treat. Dh and I pitched her in about 5 mins in the last few moments of sunshine on the Friday night. Good to know that it's not a particularly technical challenge as the two poles are identical.

Train camping was brill. So SO nice spending the 3 hours where we were going eating crisps, drinking gin in a tins and reading the kindle. Taxi to site £5.
And because dh is tight we are adventurous sorts we walked back to the station on the Sunday IN THE PISSING RAIN pulling our stuff along in the wheely bags. Was all fine.

We are already planning the next trip. Tis a most bargainous weekend away a-deux.

Sounds like a good weekend. Would love to give it a go when dc's older/ in the very unlikely event we find ourselves childless one weekend.
I heart TN/ WC tents. The quality and attention to detail is so good.I am a complete convert. ... Was drooling over new Terra Nova website yesterday.
