Would taking vitamin supplements slow my weight loss?

I'm starting a diet tomorrow, just healthy eating and exercise so nothing drastic.

I have always wondered this but I have been anaemic when I have dieted in the past so I would like to start taking vitamin supplements but I am worried that taking these may slow my weight loss?

Sorry if that's a stupid question, I am not the brightest of people and I haven't dieted for 3 years hence the 12 extra stone that is hanging from my body.

There shouldn't be any weight gain or slowing of weight loss if you take vitamin pills. In fact, taking one a day will probably help keep you healthier, especially if you are following a low calorie diet. Any "excess" vitamins you have floating around will just get widdled out.

I take a daily vitamin and mineral tablet and fish oil. Just because I don't like fish so helps with that. Maybe. Doubt it makes any difference to weight
