I am, I started on Monday having meal replacement shakes and yesterday had a BAD day where I ate a KFC for lunch (probably around 900cal) and then probably another 600cal dinner!
I made the mistake of having a big meal for lunch basically, if I can eat less during the day then I tend not to want more, if I eat more during the day it just makes me want to eat more later on.
So today I am doing my shakes again for breakfast and lunch, will save my snacks for my shift this evening (5pm til 1am) because I always always always want to peck at food during that.
I know some people work really well with having big breakfasts but its just not for me, if I eat a big breakfast within a couple of hours I want to eat more, I think staying in the state of not having a solid meal for the majority of the day works better for me, having this last week to go on.
The night shifts are a killer though! When I get home I have a Options Hot Chocolate which comes in at around 50cals with most of a pint of hot water, I find this fills me up and is a nice treat at the end of the day.
I just need to stay focused, there is so much opportunity to eat tasty, yummy, carb filled foods but it doesn't satisfy me.
I could do with some support and other people who are making 600cal meals of a night
I am thinking bits of fish/steak/chicken with lots and lots of salad?
