Hi all
Going to start expressing over the next couple of days but am a bit confused about whether you can feed the EBM straight from the fridge or whether it needs to be room temp?
Thanks in advance!

You can but baby might not like it. Stand it in a jug of warm water if you want to heat it to room temp. Don't microwave it.

I'm sure you can give it straight from the fridge but I doubt that baby will like it very much at first!
My dd likes it quite warm and won't even touch it at room temperature!

the milk storage and handling section of this site may be of use to you too.

Oh yes - and don't shake it. SImply 'swirl' it gently if it has separated out.

Check out my link - v good site.

DD was fine with it straight from fridge, DS didn't like it but then didn't like it from a bottle at all, only from source
Try it and see. As far as I know its only a cultural thing we have about heating up milk, apparantly its given straight from the fridge in the States. Makes it SO much easier if you don't have to faff around with warming milk when out.
