the raspberry blowing i can handle, the biting i can not! the first tooth is through - OUCH FFS!!!!

To get DD to realease - do the opposite of your instinct and push her face further into your breast. It means she can't breath through her nose and lets go so you don't have to tug her off.

Other than lots of very firm no's and stopping feeding for a minute I can't think what to suggest. Perhaps someone else will be along in a minute.

I ended the feed abruptly and sat her on the floor, she seemed to get the message. She was only doing it for a laugh anyway.

I just used to swear my head off and walk away. Drove me scatty! He's just stopped BF now tho and I'm quite sad about it! Alison's tip sounded like a good one...

Second Alison's recommendation, and worth also mentioning that they only tend to do it for a few days when they get a new tooth, and then they adjust and it's fine again .
