Part 2 of kickstarting the feeding/terrible bottle feeding moments .... confusion

Right - following on from my thread about wanting to kickstart my bf after giving up for two days - decided to bottle feed. But have realised I am very crap at it - never have enough bottles with me - screaming baby twice in last two days - in car - driving home as quick as poss to get a bottle. So ... went to put him to bed tonight and he refused the bottle and head butted me on boob several times (i.e. I want them in there) - so bf him from both sides - milk def came out and off he went to sleep. He woke up again at about 9pm and did the same again....

I just feel there has been so much confusion for him recently - have been away for two weeks, tried to bottle feed, changes to bedtime routine, short cat naps ... so hoping that the bf will be the one consistent thing for him.

Sorry is such a ramble - just never realised how much work ff was - despite having ff my two others - in comparison to bf!

flash - just wanted to say well done on dropping the bottles! now you need to feed feed feed to get your supply up (although you probably know that!) bf-ing is (IMHO) much easier than ff-ing. boobs are more portable than bottles!

I'm afraid I have to concede after much confusion that am going to move onto bottles. I tried to bf last night and he screamed and screamed in rage because not enough milk was coming out - persevered but not happening - know should give it longer but he is so miserable as he is hungry.

I feel happy that have bf for 4 months and slightly foolish for thinking changing to bottles in the first place was a good idea.

I will just have to be a better organised mummy and have more bottles on me for him.

it was the foremilk poo that did it - wasn;t sure he was getting any bf but he def is ...
