Breastfeeding on holiday

I take for granted the fact that I can feed my dd anywhere (or at least you're supposed to be able to!) here in the Uk but just had a sudden panic that this might not be the case elsewhere in the world.

We're only going in Menorca in a couple of weeks-so think it should be ok-does anyone know?

Also dd will almost be 14months and has a habbit of just pulling at my tops and trying to latch on through my tops to make the point she is hungry do you think i'd get peoples backs up by feeding her anywhere ie by the pool on the beach etc?

I normally don't care and would have a huge go at anyone who tried to stop me but as this is in a foreign country and I wan't to relax I don't want to worry iyswim!

Anyway if anyone knows please tell me!

The Meditterranean is a far more BF friendly place than here I think so you shouldn't have any problems. There will be lots of women going topless so its not worse than that!

You'll have no problem, except in a church or monastery, sometimes included on excursions, but I doubt you'll be doing those with a 14mo! The med is very child friendly, they expect that you bring your children everywhere with you, and waiters practically fall over themselves to fetch highchairs etc. in restaurants, find room for sleeping babies in buggies, and bring childrens meals as fast as they can. Have a wonderful holiday.
