Just want to say thanks to everyone on this topic who has given me advice, support and sympathy in these first 6 weeks of breastfeeding.

feel like at times it's been one problem after another, but you've got me through it, and while I don't think it's going to be plain sailing from now on I'm really beginning to feel like we cracked it. It's still up and down, but after DH doing two night feeds for me I finally feel a bit more human. I know in the long run, bfing is going to be the easiest and best option for me and DD (especially since have had not water for a week!).

Thanks for everything. No doubt there will be more "oh my god this is so hard I don't know what I am doing!" posts from me soon, but until then I'm going to enjoy this (and the new shoes I'm going to reward myself with!

Just to let you know littlefish that I got water back on today! Not for drinking or washing up but can do laundry (yay!). Thanks again for your very kind offer. Should be back to normal soon
