I need help, I was late getting my ds jabs (2nd lot) up until 3 weeks ago when he had them he slept 10 to 12 hrs and seemed fine with his milk, he now gets tummy ache at meal times, has runny poo sometimes or green and solid, he gets bad tummy at night time, I can hear it grumbling and he is sooo windy, almost like a colicky baby, please help...

My dd (now 2) got reflux after every lot of her jabs..... a lot of screaming at feeding times etc. Baby gaviscon plus feeding her upright etc sorted it out, but EACH of her 3 lots of early jabs had the same effect... good luck!

Thank you, did it last as long as this? I didn't even know there was such a thing as baby gaviscon, I will get some.

My dd was quite small and although I gave her her 1st jab at 2 months, I spaced the others out, about 3-4 months between them. I seem to remember it took 4-6 weeks to totally get rid of her reflux (it was not the vomitty type of reflux, more the acid coming up into her mouth and making her scream type...) after each jab (sorry!). BUT, I found it got better almost as soon as I got the infant gaviscon. You can get it on prescription (cheaper) or buy it over the counter. Also, as soon as I weaned her, it helped too. At one point, I think I had her sleeping on a tilt to stop the acid going up her throat.... really good luck. You could also try cranial osteopathy and/or adding pro-biotics to his milk once a day (Solgar do something called ABC Dophilus which is quite expensive at about £15/bottle, but it lasts for ages. It's quite good and I think it helped too....). Best of luck!

Thank you so much for your help, I am going to a cranial osteopath next week with him, I will try the dophilus too. I think he maybe teething now, which doesn't help!
