I go back to work in a couple of weeks for 3 days a week. I am very lucky as I will be able to bf at lunchtime - anytime from 12-1.30 and want to express other feeds (my DH will be looking after him). He usually naps at this time. I will leave home 8.20ish and get back 5.30ish. Iam bf on demand at mo (approx every 3 hours), but would appreciate knowing what feeding/expressing routines other people are using, especially if they are able to do a BF during the day. I have been trying to space feeds around 1pm but is has all been a bit of a mess! Thanks very much for your help.

I don't feed at lunchtime but express 10is, lunchtime and 3/4ish (don't get much at the last). I use an Avent isis pump and it seems to work well. Also, DS doesn't drink as much during the day when I'm not around. HTH

Thanks Swizzler. I was wondering if I could miss out the am expressing as I think it will be really difficult to do - I have images of sitting in meetings with exploding boobs!

I have just bought an Avent isis pump, and it is brilliant. Over 4oz in 10 mins! If you don't express at work will you be able to get all the milk you need for the other feeds?

Thanks a lot for your comments. Guess I will have to fit in the am expressing somehow, I suppose once we start weaning he will start dropping milk feeds. I have a Medela (sp?) mini which seems to work ok. Will start practising next week....
