Ds is perfectly happy after a feed, has a decent number of wet mappies, a very dirty nappy every 2/3 days and is sleeping fairly well.

But even with these good signs I'm still worrying myself that he's not getting enough .

One nipple is now pretty normal looking but he's very noisy eating from that side and the breast feels quite empty - I expressed from it this morning though and got loads so I know it's not...

The other nipple is still a bit of a state and quite swollen so he latches on in a funny way and is mostly sucking from the top of it (difficult to describe but the bottom of the nipple is very flat and tight so he's kind of pulled it out so that the centre of the nipple is kind of underneath). That breast always feels fuller but I know that it's the swelling and not milk causing it. Still, also get plenty when I express...

But if he wasnt satisfied he'd soon let me know - yes?

This worry has just come on in the last couple of days for no particular reason. Nothing has changed...

Sorry, just venting I guess!

You know the answer to this He will let you know if he isn't getting enough - I could express quite abit even after a feed sometimes. Plenty of wet nappies is really good - the wee doesnt get made from nothing xXx {{hugs}} xXx

Thanks

I feel kind of bad posting when other people are having real problems.

Just having a paranoid day - you've never seen anyone so excited with a monstrously pooey nappy as me
