help please.just looking for a bit of advice - with dd (now just over 2)it took 3 months for her to drink from anything other than my breast - with ds2 (19 weeks) i tried him a few weeks ago with a bottle of formula (i have never been able to express breast milk - either by hand or hand pump or electric pump!) and now he only wants to bf during the night if he wakes up - during the day he will really scream if he is hungry and will not latch on - he arches his back and pulls away from the breast - i usually end up giving him a bottle because its easier - i still have a milk supply but would like to increase the number of bf during the day, but i dont want him to be upset - any tips please x any tips on alternative methods of expressing would be useful as then i can have the best of both worlds!

Have you tried having a bath with him? Just having lots of skin-to-skin contact may encourage him to latch during the day.

I'd leave bottles be for the moment, if you can, or at least try to reduce them, as it sounds like he's suffering from nipple confusion.

I'm sure more-experienced people will be along soon ...
