Bottle feeding abroad - WATER?

Any advice on what to do if you can't use the tap water to make feeds? Nhs advises not to use bottled?!Wink

Ask in the local pharmacy what bottled water mothers in the area use - some types are fine. Or look at the label - some will indicate the water is suitable for babies. The main risk is with bottled water that's high in salts, which is why NHS says no, 'cos you can't tell which brands are like that in the UK.

I know that when we've been away (Spain & Portugal), if you look at the back of the litre water bottles in the shops, there's a baby picture (a bit like the one sometimes used to show baby changing facilities) to show that it's suitable.
