How long did it take for your milk to dry up?

Just that really.

Been feeding DS for over 18 months. I stopped about a month ago but although I'm not leaking or uncomfortable there's definitely still milk there!

How long is normal?

After well established bf, you can have milk for months, even years. You don't necessarily feel it or notice it but if you squeeze in the right way you can see evidence.

Yes I read somewhere that you can still see some milk supplies in mammograms of older/elderly women who breastfed years previously.

I stopped bf about 6-7 weeks ago. DS was mix fed, not even ebf and only for around 5-6 months but I can still squeeze a drop out- no discomfort of leaking or anything but I think there's still a tiny bit of milk there.
