We didn't notice any side effects with her taking this but she also didn't have any significant weight gain. As soon as she started having the high calorie milk she started eating less solid food and in the end all the professionals concluded what my neighbour with 4 children had already told me, she was fine, just a slim baby!

We didn't go abroad in the time that she was having the milk but yes it does take up a huge amount of space, we had to empty a whole kitchen cupboard to store it!

Hope that helps

We didn't notice any change in her sleep patterns. I remember the health visitor telling us to offer water too and yes she took less of the simillac than normal formula, my DH compared the 2 side by side and when I saw that I could see why she wouldn't want as much us normal.
