Can formula poo be seedy?

I'm trying to determine if my 8 week old's getting any significant amount from the breastfeeds I'm doing. My breast reduction means my supply's chronically low despite it being my second and pulling out all the stops. I remember it being mustard coloured on hipp organic last time but thought seeds might be a bf thing.

No my dd has this. I was so surprised as she has been ff from birth to see seed-like things in her nappy, like she had inhaled a packet of sesame seeds!

Yes! My DS was completely FF from 2 weeks and the only thing that changed was the thickness of the poos - they were less watery. They also still smelt yeasty, albeit less yeasty than bf poos.

He had seedy poos until he was regularly having 2-3 meals of solids at about 7/8 months.

Thanks for your replies- that was what I suspected. Though I was hoping different it's good to know.
