Infant feeding

Think I've just stopped BF 11mo :(

Cut down to two feeds a day - morning and evening - when she was 9mo. She started nursery last week at 11mo and I started offering her formula in a sippy cup once or twice a day. I was planning to stop but didn't think it would be this quick :( She didn't mind me dropping the night time feed on Friday and just offered her some milk in a sippy cup this morning and she was happy. I was expecting lots of tears and fussing but now she gets excited when I she sees the mini Aptamil bottles Sad Can't believe yesterday morning was probably the last time I fed her.

Felt like a bit of a lone crusader since she's been born as all my Nct group bottle fed from very early on and was under so much pressure from DM and MIL to stop/give her a bottle. My DM kept telling me breastfeeding horror stories of underweight babies/sick exhausted mums while I was pregnant to put me off! Because of that it feels a bit strange finally giving her formula but they provide it at nursery and as I was preparing for a big battle Confused I thought she'd take to it easier as its so sweet.

Anyway I've been so lucky I've found it so easy and it worked out really well. I've only stopped as I'll like to crack on with no. 2 but still haven't had AF so really hoping this makes the difference?!

Last feed was yesterday morning so I expect I'll prob start feeling engorged for a day or two (?) but someone mentioned feeling down when they gave up BF. Is this normal? Just want to prepare myself mentally. Also worried I'll crack and start again so need to think of long term benefits - hopefully DC2, a night off etc.

Sorry about the long ramble and any thoughts/advice appreciated :)
