first time mum so please be gentle.
my little one is 16 days old and is bottle fed due to me not producing any colostrum or milk.
my partner and I are feeding her aptamil and in a bid to be organised so she isnt screaming for ages waiting for a feed we have been making up a bottle boiled water and leaving to cool then when she is ready mixing the formula in. We only make one boiled bottle of water up in advance after her last feed.
ive now read online that this is dangerous and I am now in a complete panic!
my MIL said she used to make up mixed bottles in advance but I now realise guidelines have changed since her time.
what is a safe practical, organised way if any to make up bottles in advance or is it really make it on demand ?
I just want to get it right and safe.
