am i being thick?

i thought all bottles will leak out of the teat if you hold them upside down. at least all my cousins' did. i thought they were all the same.

It depends on the make, some have holes that just let the milk out, others have crosses cut in the top, so baby has as much milk as they want to suck out iyswim. I think the cross cut ones are supposed to be better for wind too. HTH.

It depends on the make. MAM teats are shaped so the baby has to 'chomp' on them like it's breastfeeding. If it's only a size 1 it'll probably only dribble, a bit more with size 2 and size 3 practically hoses out! I've drenched poor little 'un a couple of times moving him up to size 3!! Grin
