All of my peer supporter knowledge seems to have drained away with my waters when they broke!
Baby is 2 weeks tomorrow. Feeding was v painful within days, is better now on right side, i get a decent latch 90% of the time but still agony on the left side where I rarely manage a good latch. She latches on and feeds much better in the day than at night. Because of this and the 2 other dc whom I have to get up and ready for school single handed, I have been giving a bottle of formula for one of the night feeds, simply because she takes the bottle much quicker (can take her 1.5 hours to feed at night as she slips off, wants both sides, won't settle etc) So I at least get a couple of hours of sleep,
Questions I have: how much will the formula bottle affect my milk supply? Seems ok for now, but I know the night feeds are important for supply. She cluster feeds in the evenings from about 7-11pm supply seems fine during the day, but I rarely feel full, thought this might be to do with having fed previous babies?
Not overly worried that the bottle is affecting her latch, she is always dead keen for boob, and opens her mouth nice and wide, beats me how with text book technique (according to various people) I still have lipstick nipple and am in so much pain!

So I've been learning a lot about tongue tie recently. Has she been checked?

She has a lip tie and a slight posterior tie but apparently she has a good range of movement with her tongue so it shouldn't cause problems. Try telling that to my nipples at 2am!

My DS had (has) lip tie and had a posterior tongue tie that was missed several times. the problems we had sound very much like yours - we got it snipped at 15 days, but the damage to my nipples + thrush + not coping ended our bf relationship by 4 weeks Sad
AFAIK even the slightest of TT can cause problems where more obvious significant ones don't.

I'd be getting the ties revised. Even with an apparent good range of movement, it can still cause you pain, and that's the issue.
