I couldn't find a new blog post thread for this week so I've started one, hope that's ok and it's not all changed during the summer months?

I've had a bit of a break during the summer as the house was full of either teenagers or toddlers.

But I'm back now with the first in my series of Said No Boy Ever...

I realised this week that I have no clue on what's going on in the world, so here's my post on why I no longer watch the news.

Do you feel guilty if you abandon a novel part way through because you're finding it tedious?
I did this week but it makes me feel guilty

Just realized that sharing blogs is possible on mumsnet. Here's one that might be of interest to mothers.
The balancing act of being a mother and how at times there is only one thing that matters.

Karen's Story, the second in The Museum of Fractured Lives series, is free for Amazon Kindle until Weds 16th October.
Karen's Story is contemporary women’s fiction (although some men may enjoy it too). It is the tale of a single woman’s quest to find a man to father her baby. She tempts a work colleague to commit adultery. But he has a secret and their affair has devastating consequences. At approximately 8,500 words the book can be described as a long short story or a ‘flash’ novella.

To celebrate I am running a prize draw and full details are
on my blog
