Tips for getting started writing reviews on your blog

I wrote a couple of posts this week which I hope will be helpful for anyone who's interested in writing reviews on their blog (I spoke about the topic at a blog conference so this is all the stuff I forgot to say on the day). They're a bit long so make yourself a cup of tea first.

Interesting articles - thanks for sharing. I'm in the middle of writing a review at the moment but it's not something I do very often as my blog is a bit niche (knitting and crochet).

Of the 2 sites you recommend, I'm going to have a browse of ResponseSource (which is entirely new to me). The other site just doesn't fit my profile but, again, what can I expect with my particular focus?! ;)
