I am thinking of creating a blog. There would be some cooking, baking (the first two hopefully), crochet and may be something else. I really want my blog to have a name containing 'honeycomb'. So here is the list: honeycomb flower, honeycomb planet ( honeycombworld is gone), At the Honeycomb (url athoneycomb). In the honeycomb is taken. Golden Patisson? My DH says it is vulgar.

Would be grateful for any suggestions, critique.
Many thanks.

It's a nightmare trying to get a name you like and isn't taken. In the end I got the dictionary out and started at a.

Honeycomb cafe
Honeycombville
Honeycomb tree
Honeycomb wood
Honeycomb pot

Good luck!

Thanks icepol. I like honeycomb pot and honeycomb cafe but I think if I have cafe in the name I would have to post lots of recipes :) or am I wrong? Honeycomb ville is not bad either. I am thinking.
So much emphasis goes on the importance of having a good an appropriate name. I have seen blogs with strange names yet I pay attention to the content of the blog.

Thank you so much everyone. You have given me some thoughts :) . What do you think of these two names: Rainbow honeycomb and Life in the Honeycomb? Honeycomb is my house, my life, my projects. I wonder whether because I have a honeycomb in the blog's name, I would have to have a honeycomb backbround? Do I have to match the background with the name of my blog.

This honeycomb makes my head spin. Why i am attached to this name? Ridiculous. I am thinkingof other names. At the end of the day the name shoukd describe what is in my blog.

Hmm, well I do think its a good idea to try and get the name of your blog right because once you have something of a following you won't really want to change it. Having said that, mine is far more twee sounding than it is (and certainly way more than I am in RL) Fwiw, I like Life in the Honeycomb Smile

There is a famous play called "A taste of Honey" so I was wondering if you'd like "A taste of Honeycomb"

A taste of honey, hmm. I love honey but this blog I would have to dedicate just to the recipes with honey.

I think I need something simple and neutral if I plan to have a bit of everything in there. I like how some people get the right name and then post anything from knitting to holidays and still get lots of followers. So neutral name is good. It might come into my head tomorrow.

Craftsonsea, I guess the name of your blog is craftsonsea. I had a quick look. Congratulations on the nomination for the award. Good luck!
