Hi girls. How r u all?
Im new to this website and desparatly need help.
It been 2 year my husband and me trying for a baby without any success.
Anyway the problem is with releasing eggs..
The 1st time i had my progesterone levels checked it was 42.
My doctor then sent me again for the same test. ... The 2nd result levels were 2
And 3rd time progesterone level was 1.
Im being sent for an ultra sound scan on 25th of feb.
After that doc said probably gonna put me on clomid.

Are there any women out there that have had the same problem as me?

After trying for over a year and failing, conceived on the very first dose taken of clomid. 3 yrs later, conceived again without the need for clomid. Amazing!

I have at least 2 friends (and a few other anecdotal recounts from friends of friends) who successfully conceived using clomid. Wishing you the best of luck and sending hugs! Xox

Hiya ladies. My husband and I have been ttc for just about a year now. I am 35 (almost 36) and he is 36. We had a daughter 10 yrs ago, fell after once have unprotected sex. We waited a long time so i can work and he could move up on the career ladder. We are now in a position to have another and I thought it would be easy as I was never on bc. I have very regular menses and no indication of problems....... but........
I have been in tears in the GP's office and he sent my husband to check his sperm, which came back 59%. Fine... i had the first lot of bloods done and doc said 'normal'.
How do you get to the stage where the GP perscribes Chlomid. I have read a lot about it and have heard alot of success stories and wish the doc would give it to me, or at least send me for further checks to see if I ovulate. As I fear I may not be (even though clear blue ovulation predictor kits say I do).....and/or if my tubes are blocked.
Our GP just says Relax and it will happen.
Any advise would be great!
Thanks

Hi Dimples, if you've been trying for a year now well then it's time for your GP to refer you to the hospital for some investigations...ultrasound and HSG. The HSG will determine whether or not your tubes are blocked and if all is good from there they should prescribe clomid for you! I was ttc for 20 months had the HSG done at 16 months all was well and I was prescribed Clomid for 6 months and I was very fortunate to get a BFP on the 4th month! Best of luck :)
