My son is now 5 years old and I am worried about how he behaves at school. Any tips?

My son is called Kai and he started school in the UK almost a year ago, he is only 5 years old but his teacher sent me an E-mail last week explaining how he was rude in class and came across as angry all the time in her lessons. This really upset me because he's never usually rude at home, he used to throw tantrums a lot though as a toddler. I really need some advice on what to do next, I have already talked to my partner about this and he thinks we should go in and talk to the school. Is this needed?

yes I would . Ask her to be specific about the worrying behaviour with examples , see if there is a pattern (is he hungry , tired, particular activity), whether it is within the range of normal behaviour for his age and agree a strategy for dealing with it - perhaps a reward/sanction system you can replicate at home so you can be consistent.
