how do you start a blog?

hiya merry Christmas!!!

I really enjoy reading other people's blogs and was wondering how I would start my own.

does anyone have any tips or guidance they wouldn't mind sharing

Very simple to do. I use wordpress and it takes you through all the basic set-up as you go.

What kind of blog are you interested in starting? Who are you doing it for? Thinking of those kind of things will help you decide on your style of blog/background etc

Think about good visuals - IMO a good blog has these. Also, if you want it to reach out to others, make sure you update it quite regularly and check others' blogs out, follow them and comment on them.
