The power of music

Busy with usual jobs this morning and this song came on the radio, and there I was transported back 4 years ago - it was the song my dad had chosen for my mum's funeral service....i filled up as I listened to the words, and I was just back there on that awful, dark, rainy, very very sad day. I managed to compose myself, carried on listening, thought about my mum (as I do every day), then I felt really comforted. The song was 'How can I tell you' by Cat Stevens.

I agree, music can have me in tears or leaping round the room with happiness. It's nice that a song can mean so much, even it makes you cry.

Hugs to you pipkin.
