I had a m/c back in June, When i went in with pain in my tummy (no bleeding) i was seen stright away.. I had a long wait till my scan but they gave me one and found no bean but had the sac... It is maddness to leave you waiting virginbonkerz for a scan, althouh the doc must be sure all is ok.. The scan should be stright away for you own peace of mind..

it must be hard watching something like this when it affects you directly, so lots of hugs. (but i do think it's good to air such topics, esp as 1/4 pgs end in miscarriage, it might just help those not affected by it to be more sympathetic in future)

That's a perspective it's easy to forget Bundle. I still have a BIG problem even seeing Holby in passing because of its week-in, week-out, let's make popular entertainment out of pregnancy and birth trauma. I get red mist.
One does forget it might also be helping people understand these things...
Mishiclaus, Bonkerz, thinking of you both.

marina, ikwym, esp as holby have been Getting It Wrong a lot lately... ie factually (I mean as well as just going for the grabby storylines instead of someone who has a happy ending..)

hi
they have said about the usual blood tests etc but again i think they r just saying fate and one of my mc was caused by an abusive ex..so not really nature....due to having my gorg ds there obviously isnt any major probs
take care

MNP - I so agree with you on Holby. Wouldn't mind so much if their storylines were realistic in any way. If, indeed, their idea of how a hospital works was realistic in any way.... It's sensationalist and scaremongering and miseducates far more than it promotes understanding.

Rant over. Mishi, I'm so sorry this is happening to you. I miscarried last month and you're right, it is a nightmare. I'll be thinking of you.

Hugs to everyone , I cried at the corrie storyline as I have had 2 misscarriages and a still birth, I was scanned with one of them to be told my baby had died and had to have a d and c and with the other was told my uterus was empty, therefore I had misscarried.I knew with the first one as my preg symptons stopped, the sonographer was very kind and turned the screen towards me and showed me my baby and kindly told me there was no heartbeat. My first child was stillborn at 26 weeks and I still havent got over it, I do howevr have 4 healthy children now and count my blessings every day.
