Im about 7 weeks pg. I just went to the loo and noticed the discharge was darker than usual, not bloody, just a sort of darker cream colour, and watery not thick. Sorry TMI!!
I read somewhere it can be a sign of missed miscarriage? I dont know if im being overly paranoid.

Hi

I'm nealry 15 weeks pregnant & have had the same discharge since around 6 weeks had 3 scans and all show a baby bouncing around I was told that it was quite common (this is my 3 pg got a DD who is nearly 2 and had m/c in feb)still get discharge now and again.

I've also discovered I have had a water infection for a while (not that I knew just my samples came back showing this) and this can cause discharge. I know its hard especially in teh early weeks and i went to the Dr at 7 weeks and feigned a little pain on one side (knew the dr would consider ectopic!!) and managed to wangle an early scan at EPU if not do you know any clinics that will do private scans I had one at 10 weeks and it cost £50 but was well worth it!

Hope this helps

Sounds like it is slightly stained with old blood. Can be common at this stage of pregnancy. Try not to worry.

I had this at 7 wks (ds now 2!) - drs were very good at sending me for early scan the next day...if you have had a missed m/c before then hopefully your dr will be as helpful. Also, thinking back.. I rang NHS Direct for advice and they told me to get appointment with gp immediately so I felt justified in demanding to be seen!!

(Also, my twin sister had same thing at 7 wks and is due on 20/8 - she went for early scan (via gp) straight away too - all fine!)

Really hope all is okay...

It might be implantation bleed??? I had this sort of thing for 3 months. I was told that if it was a m/c there would be a lot and it would be fresh, new and red. I did have some 'fresh, new and red' but I was still ok.

Im about 8 weeks preg. isnt this too late for implantation? i havent had any thing else this week, so thats reassuring - i think!

mia84, some women bleed during pregnancy, esp the first trimester. I stained brown throughout the first trimester with dd, even bright red at one point! But it was fine. My NHS hospital has an early pregnancy unit that does early scans (free) if you complain of bleeding. Might be worthwhile to call them up and check first.
