Pelvic Floor Muscles after ERPC

Hi,
I tried to do some pelvic floor exercises last night for the first time since my m/c. They felt like they didn't respond as they normally do, felt like I couldn't feel them tense (IYKWIM).
Anyone know if an ERPC can affect your PFM's? I could just be imagining it. Since my ERPC I've been a bit paranoid that I won't get fully back to normal.
My head is in a different place altogether most of the time anyway because of the m/c, but I'd like to get my body back on side!

I read somwhere that your cervix is relaxed for up to 2 months afterwards - my first period after my mc was shorter than usual, so I suspect muscles are still a bit loose. Don't know if that helps?

Maybe its due to hormonal changes and will return to normal when hormones have settled down. As they say that pregnancy hormones relax all muscles and ligaments.

msteeth, do you mind me asking how long after you ERPC did you get your first period?

I'm msteeth! It came 5 weeks after ERPC, almost to the day. Less PMS than usual, but otherwise normal (except shorter, as I said).
