My beautiful friend died yesterday. She battled cancer for a long time. I am organising memorial cards for her funeral. There will be a gorgeous pic of her on the front but I am struggling to find the right words/quotes for the reverse - can anyone help??

Thanks

Do you know "Death Is Nothing At All"? here Not sure if it's the sort of thing that you're looking for, but it's one of my favourites.

I am sorry for your loss by the way. You sound an amazing friend.

That is a lovely passage. The first few sentences are beautiful. Thank you. Smile

There is a poem called Do Not Stand by My Grave and Weep, I found its beautiful.

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die

We've just had to do this for my Mum. Amongst other things we used a short piece by Joyce Grenfell - If I Should Go. I also love this one - She is Gone - David Harkins.
Hope it goes well.
