I wanted to type something to you the other night but didn't want to barge in on someones else's thread.
How are you feeling today?
My baby was also stillborn. He was 40weeks - he actually died on his due date as his cord was in a knot.
I am so pleased that you have your dear son and I know that he will never replace your first boy.
He will always be a part of your life.
If you want to talk I will be checking this thread often for you.
Take care.

Thanks Trace - I think we have messaged a few times on the ttc threads and no doublt will do some more over the next month (s).

Michelle - I really wanted to contact you as you sounded so sad the other night, but I am so aware not to hijack anyone else's thread.
I lost my ds 10 months ago (almost to the day) and I have actually dealt with it very well....until last week!
I have not been very well and had a wobbly over Mother's Day (not what I was expecting a year ago) and I think a combination of things really.
I feel much better now but my heart went out to you when I read your message.
Did you find out why your darling son died?
Mine had a knot in his cord and it tightened when he 'dropped down' to be born.
I was perfectly healthy throughout the pregnancy and so was he.
Also ironically, we had tried for almost 5 years to conceive him - life's tough sometimes isn't it?!

Sorry - I posted on here to give you some support! Blush
What was your boy's name?

That must be dreadful to have the hospital/doctor/midwife to blame.
I feel lucky that no-one could have done anything for us. They said that the knot wouldn't have even been picked up on a scan probably - but we had no reason to have a scan due to both of us being healthy throught pregnancy..just one of those things.....

Yes he was our first babe. Seems more cruel that doesn't it after waiting so long as well.
Hopefully we will fall pg soon although it's taken nearly 10 months already...hard not to get down about it.
You must have had Joshua at about the same gap as we are now? After about ten months?

I'm sorry that you are having to go through the trauma of an enquiry. It's bad enough what we've been through anyway without it all being dragged out. I hope that you get the answers you're hoping for (even though it won't bring your lovely boy back). Did you have a name for him too?

I did actually think that Josh was your first son but then wasn't sure and didn't like to assume - both lovely names for your boys.

My maths is shocking! Did you try for Riley fairly soon after you lost Josh?

We did but it seems to take us AGES to conceive!

I'm a westcountry lass!
Sometimes I'm on MN later at night but it depends on the time of the month (if you know what I mean!) No point on being on the computer late at night when we are ttc!!!

How about you?
Where abouts are you from?

Hey - we're actually on here at the same time!!

We called our boy Billy.

I have used ov. predictopr kits for the past few months but I ovulate late in my cycle and so I don't think I have enough days for implantation - this is probably why it took so long to fall pregnant with Billy.

i had a machine i had to pee on for so many days per month and it gave me red and green days

i know its good! we should set a time to meet

I've been using the clearblue pee sticks!
At least I'm ovulating each month but I monly have about 8 days befor my AF comes and I think most people need AT LEAST 10 days for implanting!

Had three months of clomid to conceive Billy and just been prescribed three more months today so I am very excited!! Grin

Here's hoping!

He is GORGEOUS!!!!

He looked quite dark in the 3rd photo but the rest he looked blonder and what beautiful blue eyes. They look very intellegent eyes.

You must be a very proud mum Michelle.

Do you mind me asking what happened with Josh?

I thought about buying a dopler too - obviously I have to get pregnant first but hey...I always look on the positive side and plan ahead!!

Well...closer to it today than I was yesterday as I went to my gp and told him to hurry along the fertility people!

I am too polite...once I got assertive i now have a prescription and people sorting me out!
I have learnt that there is no point hanging around expecting other people to do you a favour!
