Just been for a check-up with my 7-month-old. He's gained weight as he should have (still on the same centile) but has apparently not grown in length since his 6-month check and is still 66cm (in fact his records say he measured 67cm last month, but I'm pretty sure he was 66 and he wrote it down wrong).

Anyway, the doc made a joke about him having reached his adult height, but I'm not laughing - surely he should have grown at least a bit since last time?

hard to measure length accurately. You need to fully stretch the babe out. Prob one or other measurement had a mistake. We're talking cm remember - easy to even misread.

True, and I'm probably worrying about nothing, but the doc uses a proper baby height/length gauge and is very thorough about stretching my son out, he even checked it a second time because the result was surprising.
