ARGH!!

She knew that there were numbers and letters, but not the difference...

Now (3.5) she can tell me what is a letter, and what is a numberjacks

She's only seen it twice!! No amount of me arguing that they are just called numbers seems to be helping.

Please tell me that she will snap out of it soon... tis very embarrassing at preschool apart from anything else

Flamey - my dd1 is obsessed with Numberjacks. Obviously at 25 months she can't differentiate between numbers and letters. So when we are out she shouts out Numberjacks all the time when she sees numbers and letters. Quite sweet really.

my dd finds numberjacks scary. she likes it but there is an episode with a character called the numbertaker, and he scarded her so much she had a nightmare that night about him.

reminded me of this , programme called jigsaw and mr noseybonk, he really used to give me the creeps

All the plastic spoons (I'm in the midst of weaning dd2) are called Spooky Spoons - even dp does it!

Yes we have a numberjack obsessed 3 year old here too. She announced yesterday that there was a spooky spoon when I asked her what we could do about it she replied "we have to call a numberjack i'll just go into the tv and get one!" This is the same child who this morning asked me where lollipop ladies sleep!

Oh Lord!

My 22 mo DD SCREAMS in absolute delight when she sees a numberjack on the tv - she doesn't appear to give 2 hoots about the actual programme, but if she sees them in an advert or in one of the links she points and screeches in excitement!

I think they're strange and creepy, meself...

My nearly 4 year old who is number obsessed is terrified of the puzzler on numberjacks kidnapping her precious numbers... I know all this as she watched it hiding behind me...

Started a real obsession with ds (just turned 3) and has really improved his "number knowledge". He doesn't realise he's learning either - just wish it was on more often - and some merchandise in the shops. Ds also scared of the "nummertaker" - though now he's watched the ones we have on tape 20 times or so he has got more used to him.

My DD is in love with the numberjacks too... but am I the only one who finds number three just so annoying? Hubby laughs at the fact that I can get so wound up by a number!!
