Bottom 2 teeth came through about 2 weeks ago and she was a bit unsettled during that time. Last few days she's been off her solids although taking milk as usual, refusing solids though. Also keeps sucking at my arm or leg or whatever bit of skin she can reach and usually after milk she does this, and this is new for her to suck like that. She's more irritable too. Is this teething? Is it bottom teeth growing or is it new teeth coming through? I can't really see any sign of a tooth about to pop through yet

It could be that they're coming thick and fast now. DD didn't get her first two teeth until 8 months either and yes, even if there's no signs yet they're probably starting to push down. HV told me that gurgly/yodelling noise is a classic teething sign. Does she do that? Don't wish to be alarmist but DD had a terrible time with her top two - 10 days of diarrhoea, poor thing. She got really skinny! I think the top two are often the worst ones. Good luck and lots of Wine to you.
