All my children have been good sleepers but I just wondered what you think.

my 3 yr old still wants to nap about 4-5 o clock but if we let her will not go to sleep til late
generally though she sleeps well and sometimes has to be woken up in he morning--a good 12 hours,
honestly believe if they still need a nap they should have one-- my dd3 has been known to fall asleep having her lunch at playgroup and no body can wake her up!!
btw she is 4 at christmas too

Dd is 3y2m. Sleeps from around 10pm-7am and sometimes has 2hours during the day. If she misses the daytime sleep she will fall asleep about 8pm until 7am.

My ds3 isn't 3 until Dec. He sleeps 12 hours per night - approx 7.30-7.30. He dropped his daytime nap around his 2nd birthday.

dd isnt quite 3 yet. She has maybe an hour to an hour and a half nap and sleeps from 8pm-ish until 7am-ish. (lights are off around 8pm but it can take a while for her to go to sleep depending on how silly she is being!!)

DD is 3.5 and sleeps roughly 7.30-7.00 - she douesn't usually nap but will occasionally fall asleep in the car or on the bus(unhelpfully as I then have to carry her) late afternoon if we have had a very busy day. If she naps she won't sleep until late.

dd is almost 3. She generally sleeps 10 hours at night from 9 pm to 7 am and might have a 1 hour nap after lunch in the afternoon.

Ds is 3 and 7months and dropped his in-the-bed-nap about 6 months ago. I kept it up for as long as poss cos of newborn. He now only sleeps if we are out in car or buggy in the afternoon and not every time or for long.
He goes to bed between 7 and 7.30 depending on if he's had a nap or not and falls asleep straight away and wakes anytime around 6. Sometimes a bit before sometimes not till 6.30. That is usually down to when dd wakes up and is noisy so wakes him up
He used to go to sleep later when he was having a 2-2.5 hour nap in afternoon. Not till 8 ish.

Sleeping from 4.30 till 6 seems loads to me Aunty! Was it a one off? My neighbours ds used to do that though. Once he went to bed at 6.30 (his normal time) and was still asleep when I knocked the next day at 10. He was about 18 months then.
