Star charts - are they any good??

My DD is almost 2 and half and lately she has become extra naughty and doesnt listen to me at all. I used to use the naughty corner but that hasnt worked foe months, I live in a flat so the only place I had was a corner - not ideal. I was wondering about the reward chart that Super Nanny is a fan of. Does anyone have any advice on how to get started and if its worth the hassle??

Thanx for that and I agree, as I sort of feel that I dont want a child to only behave if she is given some sort of reward/incentive for good behaviour.
