Bedtime battles with 3.6 & 2. 4 yr old - HELP

DD and DS have become little horrors when it comes to bedtime. They can be absolutly shattered, put them to bed and suddenly they come to life. In and out of bed like yoyo, he's in a grobag but still managing to manovure his way round the bedroom and into his sisters bed, when you go in there they think its highly amusing and even if you shout at them as soon as you walk out the door they just start again. Am at the end of my tether and tired and tearful atm anyway and this is certainly not helping.

Been like this about a week now. I think they've been possessed.

Could you put the youngest one to bed half an hour before the older one? Sounds lke they could be disturbing each other. Would give you a bit of quality time with the older one too. Can sympathise - have spent many an evening shouting up the stairs. x

I'd separate them and put one to sleep in another room, say your room, til they're asleep and then pop the sleeping one back.

I also have a 2.3 year old who's enjoying the freedom of being in a bunk bed and loves to amuse her sisters at night. we keep putting her back, it's tedious but you just have to keep on being firm. and not shouting cos they love that, as you say. be VERY BORING about putting them back to bed. few words, no cuddles, no discussion. straight back in, every time.

Tried all that - if he is asleep before she goes then its fine but this week has been hell, usually happens now and again but at the min its all the time. If I put them to bed in my room they will wreck the place plus they will go into their sisters rooms and they will not be Babies bedroom is downstairs as thats the only room we have for them.
