DD is 5 - she asked if we could go out on our bikes...

...I was mumsnetting, I said yeah, if you go up and tidy your room for 5 minutes, yep...so she starts screeching and said she wont. Fine I say, we dont go bike riding. But I waaannnttttt to...go tidy your room for 5 then. NO Ok im not arguing about this....20 mins later shes laying on her bed still kicking and screaming.
The bedroom is now tidy. She did it after I had said We are definetly not going.
Will she learn from this?
I thought 5 mins of tidying a room for a half hour out on the bikes was a good trade.

Everything has to be instant and centered aroubd exactly what they want. I think I'll scream and cry next time my dd's don't do what I've asked!
