7 times I had to stop this morning on the way to the gym with my DS who is now 19 months just to strap him back into his car seat which he manages no matter how tightly I do up the straps to extracate himself from. I just don't know what to do - I put him back and out he comes again - no matter how many time I keep putting him back he just does not get the message and I refuse to drive even a foot without him strapped in properly!!!

What do I do - is their anything that can keep him in that I can attach to the harness (something that will work for his pushchair too would be great as getting out of that and standing up whilst I am pushing it is also a fave trick at the moment!!!) - no matter how much it costs I am willing to get it - he is driving me insane whlst I am able to drive no further than about 200 metres!!!!

There is a product, but I can't remember what it's called! Will have a Google-rummage for you.

Lock Tite Harness Clip

Though I've seen a different one which is velcro.

I bought the previous suggestion but never got around to putting it on as you have to unthread the straps to put it on. In our car seat that just fills me with dread because they are too fiddly. Instead I use a piece of ribbon to hold the 2 straps together so DD cant slip them down her shoulders.

Have you tried putting reins on him and clipping to the D-rings on teh buggy, and then doing up the buggy harness?
