baby getting top and bottom canines before front teeth?

Ds is 3.5 months and has been chewing like mad on his teether. I'v been looking at his gums at the front and could see no white lumps in his gums. I have just noticed four quite prominent white lumps at the top and bottom at the sides (looks like little fangs) lol.
Could he be teething there first? He will look like a little vampire!

Teeth are random. DD2 had only two on the bottom and about ten on the top for ages.
