Help! My DD admitted today that she and DS (8 and 6 respectively) have been kissing with tongues at night. I think they sneak into each others rooms while we are making dinner downstairs. They thought it was a bit funny but DS got annoyed that I knew their "secret".
I didn't shout I just said that kissing with tongues was something grownups did when in love and that it wasn't something you should do with someone in your own family.
DD said ok but DS got a bit upset and said he likes it and doesn't want to stop. Apparently it was his idea. I asked where he had seen that to get the idea from and he said he had made it up. Although to be fair there are several films where people kiss that kids watch (not sure it is apparent that tongues are used though).
What do I do? I guess they are just experimenting but I am a bit concerned that I want to do the right thing.
