Does anyone else have this/have a child with it? (no sense of smell). My dc (6) saw an ENT doctor yesterday for it, and we were pretty much fobbed off and he didnt believe us. Just wondering where to go from here.

Not heard of it sorry. Perhaps if you put no sense of smell in the title or post in children's health or chat you might get a few more responses.

Are you aware of the new self-help group, 5th sense, for anosmia sufferers? They have a website and twitter feed (www.fifthsense.org.uk/) - although they are really for adults, maybe you will be able to gain some information at least!
If you can, get your child referred to Carl Philpott, who has much more knowledge in this area than most ENT consultants. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-19786773. There is also evidence that you can train the sense of smell to come back in some cases - see the 5th sense website for more details.
Good luck!
