My DD2 is 16 months and has 5 teeth. Last one came in in Dec/jan. Has anyone else had late teethers?

One of mine didn't get her first tooth until past 18 months. 5 and 16 months sounds perfectly normal. There's a big variation in when they come in.

Dd didn't get any teeth until 14 months, and only has 4 at 18 months. Apparently late teeth are strong teeth.

Thank god. I really was beginning to think she was born without teeth!!!

18 months old here and only 6 teeth. And the last one came through LAST SEPTEMBER! Some days I think he's only ever going to have 6.

Yep, my DDs were late getting their first teeth (and adult teeth, even had to have last 4 baby teeth extracted aged 14 so adult teeth would grow and she could have a brace). In contrast, our niece was born with 2 teeth!

15m and a tiny sight of the 7th and that's it. Everyone else I know had babies with head full of teeth!
